I've been working sooo hard with Milo and Govi to make our super-erupting volcano for the school science fair. We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. Milo and I have been looking forward to this half-term for what feels like FOREVER - we're finally going to the National Space Centre, to meet a real-life space engineer! The books are fun and entertaining but also encourage critical thinking and highlight STEM subjects, which is a bonus.

Review left for our 11 year old daughter: No spoilers from me - This book was very funny, I couldn't put it down. At Books2Door, we believe that reading is a fundamental skill that every child should have to help improve their vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills.

Our team is made up of book lovers who are dedicated to sourcing and providing the best books for kids. Full of gentle humour while addressing some of the big issues that affect many of our children, here is another story which is an absolute delight – packed with fun, written and illustrated with charm and one that covers the excitement and concerns of both a residential visit and the prospect of a new baby in the family. It is also a great book for British Indian girls who now have a central character in a book, that they can relate to. A laugh out loud tale of mishap, misbehaving grannies, grumpy neighbours and large, loving families. It's up to Anisha to find Uncle Tony with the help of her best friend Milo, and she has a hunch the culprit is somebody close to the family.

Someone needs to prove Granny Jas is innocent, so it looks like Milo and I might need to go UNDERCOVER. As you can probably guess, I love books and you can often find me making a fool of myself preaching the good gospel of the library to local school children. I studied illustration at Kingston University, London, and my second children’s picture book was longlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2005. Emma McCann is a freelance illustrator, sporadic painter/print maker, occasional cake baker, and regular mess maker. Anisha's personality leaps off the page, completely realistic for a girl of her age and the various embarrassments caused by grown ups in her life that kids of that age can easily relate to.

This book is delightfully illustrated by Emma McCann in an expressive and amusing way – and the graphic elements of the text make this book accessible and a fun read. My whole family wanted to tag along and visit a festival first, where this super-famous, mega-expensive diamond is on display.

We are eagerly anticipating the second book; I hope to hear much more from this author in the future. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. I've since illustrated many titles for a wide variety of publishers and clients including Ladybird, Oxford University Press, Girlguiding, Bear Grylls Ventures, and Usborne. The humour is deft, the dialogue great and Anisha’s multi-generational British Indian family is an inclusive and wonderful world to escape into. It was great to learn about different family traditions, but the real beauty of these books is the writing.
